Paola Devis, MD, a board-certified specialist in Vascular, Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology, joins the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences as an Associate Professor in the Abdominal Radiology Division.

Dr. Devis earned her medical degrees in Medicine and Surgery from Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia and brings over 20 years of clinical experience and expertise. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, followed by a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at UCSD Medical Center.

Dr. Devis is welcomed to the department from the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Hospital, where she served as an attending physician in both Interventional and Abdominal Radiology within the Department of Radiology. Since 2018, Dr. Devis has also held an academic appointment as an Affiliate Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Arizona.

An active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America, Dr. Devis  has contributed to numerous medical publications and remains committed to advancing the field through research, education, and clinical excellence.

Areas of clinical expertise include hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangio carcinoma, fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD), venous insufficiency, deep vein thrombosis, and Interventional Oncology.

When she is not working, Dr. Devis enjoys traveling the world.
