Exciting news! As of July 1, 2025, the Arizona Board of Regents has officially approved our department's name change from Medical Imaging to Radiology and Imaging Sciences within the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson.

Santiago Martínez-Jiménez, MD, FACR, serves as a Professor of Radiology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson, within the Department of Medical Imaging Cardiothoracic Imaging Division. Renowned for his expertise in Cardiothoracic Imaging, Dr. Martínez specializes in delivering precise and comprehensive imaging services, with a focus on high-resolution computed tomography (CT) and aortic imaging. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Martínez to the team.

The 2025 Society of Abdominal Radiology Annual Meeting (SAR 2025), hosted in Tucson, Arizona, proved to be a remarkable success!
