Tyson Chadaz, MD, is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the University of Arizona. He serves as Chief of the Musculoskeletal Radiology Division. He also serves as Associate Program Director, Diagnostic Radiology Residency, and Program Director, Advanced Musculoskeletal Imaging and Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowships.
Dr. Chadaz earned his Medical Degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. He went on to complete his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center. While there, Dr. Chadaz completed accelerated training in advanced musculoskeletal imaging. He went on to complete Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at the University of Arizona and Banner-University Medical Center Tucson.
Dr. Chadaz is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology. His research interests include musculoskeletal infection, traumatic and sports related musculoskeletal injuries, and physician/resident well-being. In 2021, Dr. Chadaz founded the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences Resident Wellness Committee.
When he is not working, Dr. Chadaz enjoys spending time with his family. His hobbies include hiking/backpacking, skiing, skateboarding, running, and playing guitar.
