Veronica Arteaga, MD, is a Professor of Radiology and Imaging Sciences with a specialization in Cardiothoracic Radiology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Arizona, and went on to obtain her Medical Degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.
Dr. Arteaga completed a Radiology Residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and subsequently completed a Thoracic Imaging Fellowship and a Diagnostic Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Arteaga’s clinical interests center on the diagnosis and evaluation of cardiothoracic diseases using advanced imaging modalities such as chest radiography, CT, and MRI. Her expertise includes interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, pulmonary nodules, manifestations of thoracic malignancies, thoracic infections, and cardiovascular disease.
Outside of work, Dr. Arteaga enjoys spending time with friends and family.
